About the Course
In this course, we will learn how to create a 1v1-style game mode that pits players against each other in a Winner Stays format. Those waiting their turn to battle it out can run around the waiting area or head out to the viewing area and watch the action! Our theme is a desert town set in an old western time period. In this course, we will create a combat arena, a viewing/waiting area, classes to provide players with the weapons and resources they need, and audience activities to keep you busy while you wait for your turn on the street.

Lead by Professor Corbin Reeves
Corbin is a Game Designer and Professor who has taught at multiple top Public and Private universities, with numerous students going on to get jobs at some of the leading gaming companies. After learning about Creatify’s mission, he joined the team as Chief Creative Officer to help build a platform Built by Educators for Creators. Outside of his work in education, Corbin has led a game studio for the past six years as CEO and Creative Director. At the same time, he is supporting the community by organizing IGDA Events for over 1000 game developers a month.
