About the Course
In this course, students will learn how to create a Capture the Flag game mode. Students will learn how to create player classes, set up bases, design defender NPCs, power-ups, environment hazards, create objectives, and more to create a unique twist on the classic game mode. Our theme is Primal and Modern (Island Conquest), with a clash of different time periods where primal defenders fight for control versus arctic researchers.

Lead by Professor Corbin Reeves
Corbin is a Game Designer and Professor who has taught at multiple top Public and Private universities, with numerous students going on to get jobs at some of the leading gaming companies. After learning about Creatify’s mission, he joined the team as Chief Creative Officer to help build a platform Built by Educators for Creators. Outside of his work in education, Corbin has led a game studio for the past six years as CEO and Creative Director. At the same time, he is supporting the community by organizing IGDA Events for over 1000 game developers a month.
